about

We had the bright idea to record a live 16 song set at Sam Sharps in Wolverhampton on November 5th of all days. It was cheap 'n' nasty a bit like us. We could knock off a set easy, couldn't we fer £12? That was until Flynn Mayhem our current drummer broke his hand in a fit of temper for fucking up the intro to 'Satellite' our current Pistols cover which we enjoyed torturing. He hit the studio wall in a blind fit of rage all coz we all laughed about his mistake tee hee. So that put pay to the rest of the set. Oh well, at least we got 7 outta 16 tracks down. As an after thought we desecrated a Ramones cover of 'Commando' too. This session stripped back and raw gives you a good idea of what we sounded like live in '97. Our engineer Lester a local pirate DJ toasted us on the beginning of 'Shark'. After this session Flynn apparently had a nervous breakdown and was never to be seen again. Leaving us drummer less once more.
